The task of hot melt adhesive for mattress layers is to glue all the inner layers of the mattress as tightly as possible. The difficulty is that there are a great variety of layer materials and the hot melt adhesive must have good adhesion to all these materials.

Hot melt adhesives for mattresses are divided into two categories – pressure sensitive adhesives(PSA) and non-pressure sensitive adhesives(non-PSA).
Non-PSA adhesives are polyolefin-based adhesives that after setting form a highly cohesive adhesive layer. After setting of such a hot melt adhesive, the mattress components cannot be peeled off and re-bonded by hand.
PSA hot melt adhesive is a synthetic rubber based adhesive that remains tacky even after curing and the mattress components can be peeled off without damage and re-bonded by hand.
When selecting adhesive, we also take into account the requirements for the presence / absence of smell.
